THE ROLE

We are looking for a great Devops for a growing team. Your primary focus will be on infrastructure, database server, scalability and security. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust, scalable and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Tech stack: SQL Server, Entity Framework, .NET Core, Identity Server, RESTful APIs, Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, SES, Lambda, StepFunctions, API Gateway, etc), Elasticsearch, memcache, NodeJS, React.js, Redux, Web socket.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Ensuring and optimize the system performance
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor&'s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Experience in AWS or Azure
  • Experience in SQL Server database management
  • Experience in cybersecurity
