Role Purpose

Responsible for supervising the production operations of the image retouching team, ensuring timeline, quality, and adherence to technical standards; while managing personnel, supporting training, and improving workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Production Supervision and Quality Control

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to implement and update standards (Standard, Template, Workflow, etc.) for the team.
  • Ensure team members clearly understand and strictly adhere to technical standards when updates occur.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve quality issues, including Customer Rejects.
  • Participate in Pilot projects/Onboarding of new clients, proposing solutions when issues arise.
  • Participate in AI-related projects and image workflow optimization.

Personnel Management and Team Development

  • Manage shift operations: track progress, workload, and operational metrics (Live View, image flow, etc.).
  • Organize and allocate personnel based on production plans and actual resources.
  • Partner with HR on personnel matters: rewards, discipline, regulations, policies, and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Build capability development plans for the team, ensuring employees participate in training according to the roadmap.

Technical Support and Training

  • Support the resolution of technical and system issues affecting quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create documentation, scripts, and workflows to optimize editing actions.
  • Participate in training and onboarding new employees, as well as delivering advanced training for the team when needed.
  • Work with the Academy team to develop training materials, test sets, and ensure output quality standards.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare operational reports as required.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and production workflow optimization.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Digital Studio, Photo/Video Production, Post-production, Creative Production, Image Editing/Retouching, or equivalent digital content production environments.
  • Experience in a Team Lead, Supervisor, Senior Specialist/Expert, Production Coordinator, or equivalent role with responsibilities in coordinating tasks and supporting team members.
  • Experience managing or coordinating teams of 5–15+ people; capability to delegate, monitor progress, and allocate resources based on production demands.
  • Ability to work in high-volume production settings with tight deadlines while ensuring quality and productivity standards.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and analyze metrics such as productivity, quality, SLA, and workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, trouble-shooting ability, and process/workflow improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication and work collaboration skills in English.
  • Strong coaching and team development skills, with effective cross-functional and cross-border collaboration abilities in a multi-national environment.
  • Proficient with technology, digital tools, AI, and automation; proactive in learning and applying new tech to production operations.
  • Strong ownership mindset, proactive, adaptable, and skilled at multi-tasking and managing changes in clients, processes, technology, and production requirements.
