The Fashion Retouching Specialist owns retouching quality for key clients, working as an extension of their creative team. You'll understand client retouching needs and communicate requirements to ensure consistent quality. You'll work closely with the Production team and report to the Head of Operations.

This position is based in Hanoi, Vietnam and requires relocation.

TOP 4 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance and Detail Orientation

• Perform rigorous quality checks on all images before delivery, ensuring they meet our high standards and the specific requirements of each customer.
• Attention to detail is crucial, as this role demands the ability to spot minor discrepancies or errors and correct them promptly.

Understanding Customer Aesthetics

• Have a keen eye for fashion aesthetics and the ability to understand and adapt to various customer preferences and styles.
• Serve as the bridge between our production team and customers, ensuring that each image not only meets technical standards but also aligns with the customer's vision and brand identity.

Proactiveness in Operational Improvement

• The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement within the production process.
• This includes suggesting enhancements to workflows, technology, and techniques based on customer feedback, industry trends, and their own observations to elevate the quality of our output continually.

Training and Development

• Developing and delivering training materials and sessions to our production team will be a key responsibility.
• This is to ensure the team stays updated on the latest retouching techniques, understands new customer requirements, and maintains a trajectory of growth and improvement in their skills and efficiency.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

The Fashion Retouching Specialist is expected to collaborate with the Production, Quality Assurance, and Customer Success to achieve core objectives for the client, including:

• Improve first-time approval rates
• Achieve high client satisfaction
• Reduce the turnaround time
• Get to know and build trust with people from all over the world

Requirements & Experience

• Minimum 2 years managing/leading team of creatives preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and CameraRaw Editors
• Experience with photo production in fashion/eCommerce/creative studio environment
• Strong retouching skills including color correction, beauty retouching, and composites
• Technical understanding of image formats, resolution requirements, and color profiles
• Experience with image batch processing and automation workflows, not just actions
• Mastery of selection techniques, layer masks, and non-destructive editing
• Knowledge of the fashion industry and eCommerce visual standards
• Experience with digital asset management and delivery systems
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Strong organizational, leadership, and cross-functional team management skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented with critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills and performs well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Language requirements;
  1. English: Full professional proficiency.
  2. Willing to travel to clients or production locations at least 3 months/year according to job requirements is a must.
