THE ROLE

Pixelz is seeking a Product Manager for a 9-month contract to fill a maternity leave vacancy. This role offers the chance to work on key projects within our innovative team. Successful performance may lead to further opportunities within the company post-contract.

You will help us achieve our ambitious growth goals by facilitating a Customer-Centric mindset and bridging the gap between development and customer-facing teams.

You will help accomplish our global vision of being the best-in-class media postproduction platform for studio professionals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the discovery and definition phases for backend features essential to the Pixelz Platform, ensuring each step aligns with our strategic goals and enhances user satisfaction.
  • Cultivate a customer-first approach within all development teams, highlighting the importance of user experience in every phase of product development.
  • Drive motivation within a diverse, self-managed team, acting as the pivotal link among business strategies, customer success outcomes, and technological innovation.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation sessions, to enhance team efficiency and product delivery.
  • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements. Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Make informed and evidence-based decisions using UX Research inputs, quantitative / qualitative data and market insights.
  • Work backwards from the customer problem and the desired customer experience to figuring out how to get there.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to continuously refine the roadmap, backlog, and development processes, aiming for iterative improvements that meet both business objectives and technical standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Demonstrable experience in leading product development, with a keen ability to oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Strong technical background and deep understanding of technical concepts like APIs and Databases, ideally with previous hands-on engineering experience and in SaaS or B2B platform systems.
  • Deep developer empathy and a customer-centric mindset.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms and adapt your message to the audience.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Vietnamese
